Some Macroeconomic Consequences of Resource Immobility With Public ProductionCalifornia State University, Northridge Many public services are provided through government produetion with public ownership of nonlabor inputs. In general, macroeconomic policy impacts with this mode of provision are different from a fiscal policy analysis using conventional models. This article analyzes how reduced public spending may influence aggregate employment with this mode of provision.
